66s are you sure about that? My dad has yellow lenses in his french delivery '89 narrow body 911 speedster. Perhaps H5s??

I don't think that's correct 66S. There were just some on here for sale a couple weeks ago for H4's. I responded too late so was unable to buy them. I have H4 lights on my 69 so i do not think anything else will work. If I'm wrong, someone please enlighten me. There are yellow plastic lenses at Sierra Madre but i would like glass.

Waiting for response from seller of those lenses. They may have been plastic. He did not list them as glass or plastic.

Well,,, Ive bought 2 pairs of yellow H1 lenses described as H4, Dr. B. Johnsons book says H4s were fitted to all 911s in 73 except U.S. and France[I dont have his 74 on book to reference], and Ive yet to see a photo of a real yellow H4.

Every 911 up to and including the 964 was delivered with yellow headlights in France - are you saying they all had H1 headlights??

    Bob,
I purchased the lenses that you speak of. They just came yesterday. They are infact H1 lenses, but I am sure that they did produce a yellow H4 lense as well. I'm 90% sure you can run an H1 lense in an H4 housing anyways.

I believe the French H4 lamps used a yellow coloured bulb, Porsche part # 999.631.202.91

I've also seen yellow bulb covers for H4 bulbs
