Insurance respray - advice on paint ?

Following damages to my car's trunk lid and rear fender, the insurance company eventually agreed that it would indeed be very hard to match my 40y old original paint. They've settled with just enough money to repaint the entire car (and get rid of all my dings in the process).

Probably not a concours level job though, but definitely a proper glass out repaint (based on southern prices). At this point, I'm not eager to make waves, I'll gladly take it. But I read in another post that single stage was a *must* to not lose value... Losing value is not a given in my case, going from a dinged old paint job (about 80% original) to a new shiny perfect surface... As far as I know they were going to do a 2 stage, paint and clear coat, no color change...

This is *not* a concours car, actually I'm somewhat grateful that the accident turned into something of a positive for me (my paint was not pretty by any stretch). The painter is using (no joke) the Sherwin Williams brand of auto paints... Should I run from that ? I imagine you'd want glasurit, PPG or something, but is that being pedantic if one is not going for a concours paint or a single stage? Those guys have done previous repaints of parts for me, and have been spot on. They're also doing lots of nice cars with that brand of paint (I though S.W was a wall paint ;-) They have a Gallardo spyder right now, it's getting sherwined as well, so I doubt they are clueless... That said, if you think I should ask for something else, please let me know - we're still disassembling now ;-) Are there differences in skills of painter when it comes to applying single vs 2 stages ? I'm asking because I'm sticking with them for a lot of reasons, and it may not be smart to ask them to use a product they don't know well...

There was a recent thread with a similar question here. If you haven't seen it, worth reading I think.
