WTB - A cool License Plate Frame

I would like to find a cool period correct frame for my 1970E. Something from the Seattle area or Southern California - Venice, Culver City, Woodland Hills, Calabasas or Hollywood are the places I've lived, so anything from any of those areas would be great.

    Anyone have anything cool?

    Thanks as always,

    Best,

    Alex

funny, I have two old plate frames, from the two areas you want, more or less. Tom Carstens was in Tacoma WA. Don Burns was in Garden Grove CA. both somewhat pitted but restoreable. Burns has a crack near the 'D'. a backside repair by brazing would work, it's pretty much invisible from the front. take both for $125 shipped. then you can change it depending on your mood. Don.

Hi Don - thanks so much for posting up those pictures, but I'm still on the hunt. If anyone else has anything that seems to fit the bill, I'd love to hear about it!

    Thanks,

    Alex

    License Plate Holder

Here is a generic one that just says PORSCHE, it is a late 60's early 70's era. I have one on my '71 targa. $50 including shipping in USA. My direct email is mike@excelgrafx.com.

No worries - I'm still on the hunt. I only just discovered that I can register old plates from the year my car was first registered. So now I'm also looking for 1970 vintage WA plates. That makes me want to find a cool Seattle area dealer plate from the same period.

Any leads - Let me know!

    Best,

    Alex
