    Trunk Carpet

Restoring a '72 911T. Went into the trunk yesterday, side carpets are shot but the large center piece might be saved but it's pretty rough. Color is black, do they make replacement kits in black? (only ever seen grey).

Also, the original has a large pocket which I'm guessing is for the tool kit, not the piece of plywood that was in there. Haven't seen a replacement kit with this pocket either?

Best place for purchasing a carpet kit with the intention keeping the car as original as possible?

Original intent was to make this a track car but the body is in such fantastic condition it will be a street car. Need to get the color back to Aubergine as well.

    Thanks.

The pocket IS for the plywood.
Once you want to get access to the spare wheel, the plywood gives a certain stability to the carpet once you lift it.
The tool kit was placed loosely in the trunk.
