    Value 65-66 911 porject?

I have an opportunety to buy a 911 project, ca november -65 production (902 8xx), Irish Green /brown leather, Webasto only option. The car has a lot of rust and is dismanteled. Engine and trans is from 67-68 with weberes but are frozen. It has the original wood wheel and gauges (good condition) and most parts are there and seem to be original but in various state.

I do not have good pictures so I know it is impossible to find a correct answer.....

    $5.000,-?
    $7500,-?
    $10.000,-?
    $15.000,-?

Thanks for any thoughts on this matter!

Now the seller wants $10.000,- for the car. The body is in poor condition with a lot of rust but the important parts are there, wood trim on the dashboard, gauges, switches, wood wheel, correct doors, hood etc. And a complete 67 engine with webers+trans. It has also fuchs (but in 14"..). I have a ok garage and are planning to do most of the job on a project my self.

The question is, what would an ok 66 911 project with "normal" amount of rust etc cost? $20.000,-?

The car is located in Norway where I live btw.

    Anyone?

    It's time for pictures

Serious. Is your car imported or new delivered in Norway (would be a plus to me), how does the chrome look like, was the dash cut for a bigger (newer) radio, etc.

Not too long ago the price would have been between $10K-$18K, now it might be closer to $20K depending on condition.

Sorry for bad pictures, but as you can see it is huge amount of rust here... If it was a 912 or a newer 911 it would certainly not be worth it, but it is a 65-66 911 and the correct model I am looking for. I do not know if it has been cut for modern radio and the chrome is not too good.. The car was imported from East Coast US in ca 1995 and has not been on the road since. I have a donor car and a lot of parts, but it will be an extensive restauration..

It looks that the dash / wood was cut for a larger radio, so unless you reinstall a modern radio again the wood needs to be replaced.

As for value .. my guess $13-$17.

Are there any doors, hood and engine lid, bumpers etc with it? I would not pay more than 50,000NOK...

Thanks for your thougts on my "dilemma"

The car is , as far as I know, complete. I looked at the car and most of the parts a couple of days ago, Maybe som smallerparts that are missing but all body parts, engine and trans (from 67 model) are there, rusty but restorable. Fenders are from a 68 I think (cut out in wheel arches and fixings for the later sealed beam head lights).

Yes, it looks like a cut out for a modern radio....
