Auto Foreign Services 1965 911 and 912 price list

Given all the recent interest and discussions of the 1965 cars, I thought I would post my fathers 1965 price list for the 911 and 912's. My father started Auto Foreign in 1962, so this is the 50th Anniversary!, I'll post some of his other old price lists in the other section. It was probably around 1965 that I was starting to help clean the cars on the docks up in Vancouver BC where most of the cars came into port. I think I have a few pics from that era to post.

    cheers,
    Eric

Eric: That is terrific. Love to hear more details. Why don't you tell us again the relationship you father had with the Pon family in Holland and how he (Albert) was able to have access to Porsche cars via Holland. My the way, attached is an old Pon's Automobielhandel metal tag from my memorabilia collection that were often attached to the autos they sold. Note the four digit telephone number, so we are talking really early. The son of old man Pon, Ben, is now a neighbor here in the Carmel area (Bernardus Winery) and still a dedicated Porsche enthusiast. As you know, he was factory Porsche race car driver in the early sixties.

    Saludos,
    Eduardo

    Letterheady

Eric, apropos of nothing I just want to say that the letterhead is gorgeous. I think you should submit a copy to the Letterheady blog, http://www.letterheady.com. I think it'd be appreciated by non-Porschephiles as well.

I will post a real order a little later after I find it and delete some of the serial number stuff, as I'm still trying to find the car.... it's pretty cool stuff.

Note that RTincher on this board owns a car that came through my dads office.

    Saab Letterhead, Kurt Vonnegut!! wow.....

When I was a kid in Holland in the late 60's I'd see these cars with the GN export plates... now I know where they were going! Very cool documentation.
