    Solitude Revival - Great film

Had to share this. Saw it on the weekly PCA newsletter email

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiVgAlPtfNk

After 2 1/2 minutes of intro and chat, it turns into an all sounds, sights, and keenly placed camera montage of what looks like a great event. Well worth the 15 minutes to watch.

Use some speakers or headphones and turn it up.

    You're welcome!

    Cliff Notes version:
If you don't have the time to watch all 17 minutes, start watching at 9:00 minutes.
10:20 The exhaust note of the double clutched (missed?) shift in the GTO pulling out to pass on the straightaway is exquisite.
This is followed by a quick sequence of what looks like a 910 headlight flash, followed by the McQueen 908.

I've let this movie run a few times now as background while I do other work on the computer. It's just excellent!

The David Piper 917 onboard shots are very cool

If watching that final 7 minutes doesn't bring a smile to your face or make the hair on the back of your neck stand up at times, call your doctor, it's time for a checkup!

Really well-done. Great quality, sound, and editing -- terrific cars (who cares if some of them are fakes!) and scenery. I loved every minute, especially Piper in the 917 and Hermann in the 550 (both cars and drivers the real thing!).
