1966 Coupe on ebay going soon

Not mine (although there is a resemblance)

Motor isn't right (2.2L), but looks solid and really complete.

Agreed. 66 is close to 65. So where's all the hype. :-)

degenerative focus >closest to the source... interesting how it starts with chasing the most evolved versions before we learn to covet the least evolved

$32.9k isn't too bad. I'd say someone got a pretty good deal.

I'd say it sold really well. First, it's a 67MY made in 66, not a 66. Not that that matters much. Not original color, motor not only not numbers matching, not a SWB-era motor, euro front signals, US in the rear, funky horn button, yada, yada. I still think it's a great car, I just don't think it was a steal or particularly good deal.

I agree. This car was for sale a while ago and didn't sell. The guy selling it runs a body shop from memory. I reckon this one's hard to judge from pictures alone. Could've been good, could've been awful underneath the gloss. I hope whoever bought it had a PPI done.

Is that a late rear lid or just the wrong grill? Rear seat carpets done wrong and plenty to do to make it right.
