This looks like a very nice car for a very reasonable sum.

Door and front lid gaps....not so nice....and rocker panels on both sides appear to have rust issues.

Not to mention the Armoral O.D. on the interior!
    Cheers!

I see issues....it's not a bad deal at $65k, but the photos make it look like both the driver and passenger doors don't match the rest of the car, the body gaps leave a lot to be desired, and it sure looks like the jack spurs are showing some rust worthy of a deeper look....I didn't see photos of the suspension pan, so that worries me....and the vin tag and paint code tag look poorly masked or prepped during the paint process.

This car sold on ebay last month for $35,100

At that time it had horn grill fogs on it, and below bumper fogs as well.

The buyer of the car (currently selling the car) offered the fogs here on the registry:

Found the link to the car...

Can anyone decipher that paint code number 80?0. Would be silver metallic if it starts with eight zero. Can`t find the old paint code info that used to be on this site.Hinges in rear lid are black and mine were body color in 71 and so was the front boot. They are black on this one.Lots of mystery here! Red over black over silver? TFM

man oh man. Sad to see all the parts split up and salvaged due to pure greed. Like tacking on $30,000 isn't already enough. I don't have a problem someone buying a car to sell for a profit, but I do have a problem for those who salvage rare parts and pieces that belong to a car. Very unethical in my book...

Judging by the photos of the jack receiver area, there is a rusty car under the resale red paint job. The factory restoration video, for the car that was raffled off at last year's Parade, is instructive about the problem. These cars, even the post 70 cars with zinc coated longitudinals, get rusty in the box section around the torsion bar. Porsche is concerned enough about it that they completely tore apart the longitudinals and rockers on what looked like an unrusted California car. This S Targa on eBay is manifesting signs of serious rust under the skin. It might not be as bad as the photo looks, but it needs to be looked at carefully.
