Where is a good place to attach the dead end of a Repa Y harness in my 70T? Thanks

The package tray sounds very thin when I tap on it, should I put large fish-plates both sides? anyplace in particular on the shelf? centered on the seat just above shoulder height? BTW Marco is your shop next to a place that does 356 body work?

Thanks John but I don't want to weld and on that rare occasion I have a passenger (weight) they will have to use the regular shoulder belt.

Lift up your panel on the package tray, a 70 might have a factory supplied mount.

Everything behind the front seats was taken out and replaced with carpet years ago. I cannot remember what is under that carpet.

Does anybody know the thread specs of the package tray harness mount and the best place to get the eye bolts? I checked Pegasus Racing Supplies and they only have English thread sizes.

If the Harness Mount is D.O.T. approved, it may very well be "English" (Inch) threaded.
