FS: Early 911 Solex Alloy Center Lube Cam Covers and Housings Restored

    SOLD!

Were listed on FeeBay but I will offer them here at <S>$2,000</S> - Price lowered to $1,500 but without the 2 seals...

(THE MARELLI WAS SOLD!) Using these center lube covers along with my OEM 2.8 RSR Marelli, both would certainly make a very nice vintage twin plug race engine.

...and here is a photo of the same parts installed in a 2.8 liter twin plug race motor adding to that vintage look (ignore the PMO's). lol

I thought that the "race" version had more bolts onto them.

    I am wrong?

Hello Olivier, you can see the differences in the photos below, from my other center-lube Magnesium Covers and Boxes, 906 and RSR.

From what I understand, "Center-Lube" was a performance and reliability concept, improvement mostly found in competition engines. As Porsche says; "From the track to the street". More bolts mean a better seal, not necessarily a "racing part" (the 906 valve covers has
6 bolts, those tend to leak)...

New purchase option, $1,500 lower price, but without the two cam seals which you can now order from Stoddard.
