    1968 911 S Targa pictures needed

    I'm looking for as many pictures as I can find of 1968 911S Targa's for reference during the restoration of my 68. Any sources are very much appreciated.

    Try the thread by John Hodgson, he is also doing a 68S.

    Hi Larry,

    I am just realizing you are not far from me. I am a little west of you in La Porte. Have you ever met Jim Schrager? He is a long time early 911 owner and he used to have a very original '67 S Targa (I think a soft window car too). I would be glad to put you in touch with him if interested. He keeps his cars in the Niles MI area.

    I posted some interesting images in the Soft Window Group page. Take a look. My other suggestion might be to try contacting the photographer (i've had no success) and see if he might have more images of that that car. My guess...would be yes. (They shot a LOT of 35mm in those days)
