    Suspension component restoration

When restoring major suspension components there seems to be several coation options - blast zinc paint then paint color; coat with black zinc only, blast and powder coat. There are probably others I am not familiar with. What do you recommend? On my 70 car the components look to be just painted.

    Again, thanks for the help

Blast, POR-15 rust encapsulator and two coats of POR Chassis black. Looks like powder coat, very difficult to damage, and you can do it yourself as and when you choose.
Looks more like the original than powder coat as well.
