1965 911 Windshield Washer Fluid Pump

I am restoring a 1965 911. When I started the project the car did not have a windshield washer fluid pump. i have one to install but am not sure where and how it is to be installed. I know it goes near the washer fluid reservoir. Where and how is it secured to the car? How is it wired in? If someone has a similar car a couple of photos would be of great help. Thank you.

I repaired the bracket on my restoration.
It looks like this, and the washer pump is attached to it with two white tie-wraps

And it goes on the tank support next to the front slam panel here - you can just see it in the middle of the photo next to the washer bottle support bracket.

    Hope this helps

I've never seen a '65 pump there. Mine is up close to the bag. I'll try to get photos later.

Should have said mine was a June 66 build - thought that was the same for a 65, but John clearly knows better. Sorry for any confusion.

    1965 Washer pump location

The washer pump is up under the cowl, passenger side. The bracket stand off looks to be the same as the 1966/1967, Mtemp shows in the pictures above. It's the companion to the washer bag in the fender/wheel house area.

When the rectangular plastic bottle (one year only) moved to the front latch panel the pump moved to it's location in front of the battery.

Mtemp, good documentation of that front area - the tank and it's stand changes again in 1968 to the round tank that has the lid sticking out of the latch panel.

Actually it's the same but for the later build 1965 cars, somewhere in the 'considered' MY 66.
