Nicely done Jim! COA? Why the disc brake change? Thanks.

I had every intention of driving the car once the restoration was finished so I decided that the discs would be safer. Once completed, I had so much into it, I couldn't bring myself to drive it except for test miles. I don't have the drum brakes.

C'mon Dave, take it off the market and DRIVE IT! You ONLY live once....I guarantee you, I have at least as much into my '65SC CAB, and I'm driving it A LOT these days....

Very pretty car and obviously well done. The black really looks nice. I haven't been bowled over by black Cabs in the past, but the contrast of the bright windshield frame on the roadster with the black is just right. I just finished a 4 year restoration of an open 356 and was at the MVR getting a plate for it yesterday. I do not have much experience driving a 356, and will be interested to see if it wins me over and becomes my go to or if I prefer the longhood. Good luck on the sale.

I can TOTALLY relate. Such a gorgeous and RARE car....I hope you end up keeping it...it's the BEST revenge! I got so frustrated the last time I tried to sell a car (NOT my 356) that my reply to 'can you send pictures?' was "only if you send me a deposit!" Amazing how many skulked back into the woodwork.....
