    Tangerine Dream is back home!

MArk Cavanaugh @ CR Cars finished my '69 911S and I can't say enough about the fantastic quality of his work.

I lost a road wheel last Spring and I was able to get the car into Mark's shop in October.
The only damage (besides my ego) was to the driver's front fender. I visited the shop one day to see Mark with his hammer working on the fender. WoW what a touch. It's really amazing!

Yes- 11 months without a Banzai Rod is a long time but I got to tell you it was worth-it! I work all day with color and Mark's EyE is tremendous. Tangerine is a tough color and he NAILED IT!

I also got my COA and everything matches up. I don't have the SS muffler cover that came with my car and honestly I never knew about them. I see they're available but to me they look cheeeeeesy.

    Any thoughts on these "skirts"?

Any pictures? Before . . . and after

Regarding the muffler skirts . . . people seem to go kinda crazy when they come up for sale. Not my taste --- but if I had one and it was on the CoA? . . . I'd probably take it off + clean/preserve + pack away

Steve McQ had a skirt and fender trim on his car . . . King of Cool, indeed

just talked with you on Linkedin and here you are !

Glad you got your little guy back home and he's looking good.
About the skirts. Personally , I love them but like Rick says, people get a little crazy about them.
And if it was on the COA, I would be huntng one down......just sayin'. They are only gonna get crazier in the future.

AND, have smooth seas this weekend !
    Best Regards,

I'm thinking I'll let the next owner chase a skirt for the Tangerine Dream. Adding weight and restricting air flow at the rear of the car seems counterproductive to me.
