1971 911S Targa- Engine # question

I have a 1971 911 "S" Targa VIN # 9111310430 that has engine # 6310864. I believe the motor to be original to the car but in referencing the Porsche fact book it lists an engine number in that range to be from a 1971 911T. Here is what it shows:

Engine # Range for 71 911 "S" Targa- 6115001-6119999

Engine # Range for 71 911 "T" Targa- 6310001-6318000

So what do the experts think?

631xxxx is a 71S engine- second digit: 3 = S, 1=T, 2=E

I have in my database:
9111310288 6310736
9111310421 6310873
9111310430 6310864
9111310542 6311029
so it fits well, and they are not usually in perfect sequence, so I think it is original. What is the paint code on this one?

Thanks for your help guys! I guess I will have to throw out the Porsche Fact Book I have as the engine numbers don't seem right. Its an official Porsche publication, go figure!

Paint code for the car is 8010-H Silver Metallic
