    NGK B7ES Spark Plugs

The engine builder put these on my 67S when it was restored. My mechanic pulled these and put in Bosch's when he first saw my car after it was rebuilt. Set of 6 in boxes. Have maybe 200 miles at best on them. Like new. $5 plus shipping for all 6. bbausser@gmail.com

    Thanks,

    Bill

I take it these are not the platinums (are the platinums EVs ??) Is that why your mechanic yanked them? I've used NGK platinums multiple times and have been very happy with them. The price differential between Bosch platinums and the NGKs used to be significant, without any performance difference I ever heard about. I'm pretty sure the NGKs have the proper thread pitch, etc. Something that can't be said for Champion. I figure if they're good enough for motorcycle racers then they are good enough for me.

    Different opinions welcomed.

No just the same opinion I would never change NGK to Bosch (except genuine old Bosch stuff).
Bosch plugs that have been produced in the last 15-20 years are lousy IMHO.
Too many defects with these - so I use NGK or Beru.
    Cheers

I've used only NGK spark plugs in all my 911's over the past 15 years ...

Which NGKs do you guys like and for what displacement and/or application? Thinking of switching myself based on others who like the NGKs.

    Thanks,
    Mike

The NGK's have consistently outperformed the Bosch - we've used them for 30+ years. BP's are excellent for most older 911's.

If they are good enough for my snowmobiles and Bultacos they are good enough for the Porsche. NGK all the way
