    aluminum deck 1970 911S

Attachment 214802Attachment 214802 In 1974 I bought my first Porsche a 1970 S in Southampton NY from a rich kid that miss shifted and broke all exhaust rockers so he sold it to me. He also blew a fan belt one day and ripped up center support and a dent on lid- it was aluminum! So i replaced it Guess what I still have it! The 70S aluminum lid as it was 38 years ago! So if some one needs it let me know.
I am looking for the reg so i will provide SR# of car it came from It is in need of serious work but the frame is not out of shape and no one FILLED THE EMBLEM HOLES!
Please check out youtube video of it...

Ya it looks nasty. Yet a expert metal man could fix it NP. I spent a tun of time looking around on the web and if some one has a 70S and is going factory restore this is better than replica or one I saw that was real clean except all the emblem holes were welded up. Not trying to rape some one on price that is why I said ASKING. BTW thanks for your time first forum I posting on taught I did not do something correct 260 views and not one word.I do know some extremely talented metal fabricators may be I should have them work some Magic. Dumass move on my part posting it like that the 18 -911 I sold were spotless and needed no mechanical work.

Just a suggestion, why don't you have it repaired yourself, them offer it for sale. That type of skilled body work is at least $100 per hour, and I can see a wide range of hours involved in that job 10-20+++. Point is nobody really knows what the lid will really end up costing them.

    Yup
Your absolutely right! Bad move on my part. Have hot nutz to get my car back on da road and need cash for a FI system. BTW that list under your name is your current stable? If so why not have a 928 ? I predict in ten years or less you wont be able to pick one up for less than 500K.
