Thread: Recovering dashboards

    Recovering dashboards

    Hi,

Has anyone had a dashboard recovered that came out perfect?

I'm looking for an outfit that can do this critical job correctly.

Any and all input will be gratefully appreciated.

We have several cars here to do, both early & late. I was hoping for a recommendation for a shop that does these with an excellent track record.

Nothing here in PDX, for sure.

Steve, I think there is a shop in southern WA that does this. Bernie Buschen sent a dash there a while back but I have not heard any feedback yet...might be worth a call to him.

Had my LWB dash pad restored by Autobahn Interiors. Thier work is superb, if you can live with the "non-original" seam they use in their process.
    Cheers!

Yep I did several years back grain is pretty good but you lose all the sharpness of in the step and the front edge covering the instruments

    I would give tham a 6/10

George from Levon's Custom Interior here in Los Angeles.

He and his father have been doing our upholstery work for close to 30 years. George is the best I've found and my standards are high.

    Give him a call ... (213)999-9914

Steve, I'll have the ST at Rothsport soon enough and you can see first hand Tony's work from Autobaun. You can also go to my thread and see a close up picture of it there.

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for the heads-up on that. Gammer & I are doing a resto project together and I'd like to see it in person.
