    Just a thought to add in light of the original question:
    I heard a very wise guy once say: "Don't think of it as being wrong; think of it as being stupid".
    Not saying it applies here, the question just made me think of it...

    Drove one way back when I was about 18. Local used car snake had it. It was a Kellstrom or a Fiber Fab. Cool looking but that particular car was poorly constructed. Did I mention it was cool looking? A glass body dropped on a VW chassis.
    It's alright to like it but you really ought to take it for a spin to understand what it is. It's sort of like a "Continuation Cobra". They're fun for about an hour and then it's time to put it away to forget how uncomfortable, noisy and unpleasant additional seat time would be. Get excited all over again and repeat. That's why you see so many for sale. The newness wears off pretty fast.
