    Frankfurt add on box

I've been stripping my 67 912 to a bare tub and got to pulling the radio today. It's a Frankfurt, but it has an additional box cantilevered off the back. It has a stamped pictogram of one or two speakers and has a multi-pin plug from the radio. It also has what looks like two largish transistors in the top.

I'll post pics tomorrow from work since I can from my iPad.

    Anyone know what this is?

It's the power supply of the older tube frankfurts. My 68 has the transister model without the secondary box.
