    68 on the track

    Here is my '68 at Blackhawk in Wisconsin last Friday 5/4. Yeehaw!

    Nice. First time on the track? It looks like Sanford was up there too.

    First time for the '68, Scott. Yep, Sanford was there with his '72 Targa, and also Will Stoner with his RSA. And about 140 "newish" 911's, Boxsters, and Caymans. There was even a Panamera. Chuck Mattas from the C&C group was there spectating with his white 993, he actually took most of these pics.

    For pre 90 cars, there was a gaggle of 944's and SC and Carrera 911's, but the only pre '80 cars were Sanford and myself. My car had lots of excited people coming up to it....it's "different" from your normal white, red, black late models.

    I even kept up with a newer Turbo 911 in the twisties, but he blew me away in the straights. That was fun. Power to weight ratio baby.

    Looking good mike! I like all the 68 paraphernalia, extra turn indicator lamps etc :-)
