    FS: Rare Al Door Supports

    Don't recall which year these were from, but believe they are 1 or 2 year only parts. $50 each, $125 for all 3. Don't know where the one spring is, may have it somewhere. it operates fine without it.

    I had a lot of people after them. it's too bad much of the mechanism is in the door. Coolness factor on the mechanical nature is very high.

    Yeah I'm pretty sure they were only used in the first 500 homologation '73 Carreras.

    That's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL

    Those are indeed very cool. My '73 has them in the doors as well.
    BTW, I believe you can replace the missing spring off of a 914 door-check. I had to do this on one of mine and it worked out just fine. It was a super-B*!ch to get the spring stretched over the stud though
