These will clean up nicely with your favorite parts cleaner and a tooth brush...maybe even a few q-tips. I'd say it's two beers worth of work in the garage on a beautiful weekend with some Black Keys blaring in the background. The plastic coating is usually cracked allowing rust to takes its coarse but not this set. Overall, I'd clean these up in preparation for a fuel tank restoration project. I would probably send out the mounting hardware for plating.
