The install of the unit is really not that complicated. It takes good planning prior to the install. Know how you want to route your lines, where to install the fan unit etc. On this particular car, the fan was installed rear right side qrtr panel stuff as close as possible toward the door latch panel. Because I prefer to hide the lines, I routed the lines via the inner right side rocker panel through the door hinge post to the inside cabin behind the foot board into the smugglers box where the unit lives. The unit blows cold with no issues. I have install several units now and love them. The expert on the inner working of the unit is Jonny at classicretrofit. Not a cheap unit to purchase but itÂ’s the last one you will need. My total time to do the complete install is roughly 12-15 hours.

Yes the unit can works with the two batteries installed.

The condenser lives inside the smugglers box. There is enough room for both to fit.

The hoses running via the inside rocker panel should be wrapped in some sort of insulation as they will run next to each other.
