This is an interesting sale on Ebay. This 911 sold on 4/19 for $32,900, but the buyer backed out. The seller nowhere mentions this 911 as actually a 67MY. The original listing states the 911 has a 69 E motor, the new listing now states the 911 is all number matching. He trying to use the casting numbers on the motor and trans as the serial numbers. From his first listing he doesn't seem to interested to show the 911, saying he has "no time and that is why he put the car on Ebay." If you look at his first posting he says, "zero mile on rebuilt motor," second posting he shows a receipt for the motor rebuild that is hard to read, but the date looks like 2006. Allot smoke and mirrors going on here.

Looks like the winning bidder in the original auction was French - user id arnaud.911 - anyone here? Car looked interesting the first time around but too rich for me given what it is/was.

    George,

How were you able to know the user Id of the winning bidder? Isn't that undisclosed/hidden to everyone but the seller?

If you check the feedback system, you can see the users that the seller has left feedback for and the item the feedback relates to. In this case, arnaud.911 was the recipient of feedback from the seller. See http://feedback.ebay.com/ebaymotors/...kLeftForOthers
