I've seen/owned cars with the slightly different font on the door pillar tag like is on this car. I've also seen/owned with ones where the S is falling off the tag like yours as well.

They should contact Porsche and have them correct the COA.

I had to have them do it with the COA on my "S". It didn't cost any more.

Actually, the sugar scoop headlights might be correct. We are finishing putting back together a '67 S that was a June 1967 production date. We have pictures of the car all the way to near new showing sugar scoops. When we tried to put on the earlier '67 headlights, they wouldn't fit. The fenders are '68 fenders, but they are correctly VIN stamped for the car.

Paul, could you document this with photos and the VIN please. This is an important point. Do you have a COA with a completion date?

The car is still at paint. We could see the vin stamps but the painter didn't take any photos. When we get it back, we will take more photos of the stamps. Here are two pics we do have. Also, the build date per the COA was 06/09/1967

Isn't the car for sale a Euro? So the question of sugar scoops is pretty much moot.

The car was a VARA race car from 1994-2006. It won several championships. He had an oil cooler behind with screens on the headlights.
