I've seen/owned cars with the slightly different font on the door pillar tag like is on this car. I've also seen/owned with ones where the S is falling off the tag like yours as well.

xlnt detailed observations, question on additional item. did all swb 911S's have leather surrounds at the base of rear seat cushions?
They should contact Porsche and have them correct the COA.
I had to have them do it with the COA on my "S". It didn't cost any more.

PS-They are going to do what I was thinking about had I not sold it.

Actually, the sugar scoop headlights might be correct. We are finishing putting back together a '67 S that was a June 1967 production date. We have pictures of the car all the way to near new showing sugar scoops. When we tried to put on the earlier '67 headlights, they wouldn't fit. The fenders are '68 fenders, but they are correctly VIN stamped for the car.

The car is still at paint. We could see the vin stamps but the painter didn't take any photos. When we get it back, we will take more photos of the stamps. Here are two pics we do have. Also, the build date per the COA was 06/09/1967

Isn't the car for sale a Euro? So the question of sugar scoops is pretty much moot.
