Thread: FS NOS RS flares

    FS NOS RS flares

I am offering a pair of NOS RS flares from the 70's. These are not the reman's from the 90's. I bought them from a Porsche garage sale about 8 years ago with the original olive primer and old parts stickers.
Here's the catch. I sold them and they were installed on a RS clone project. Project was abandon, and I bought the complete quarters and cut them back off. In the process, a 1/8 to a 1/4 inch was lost around the outside perimeter. No big deal. Priced accordingly. $500 plus actual shipping.

Yup, that was impressive. The velocity of the sales on this forum continues to amaze me. The winner in my book though is the $54,000 motor that sold in five hours yesterday.

Someone clearly understood the significance and value of the parts and the reputation of the builder. An opportunity that only comes around on a rare occasion.

No question, both comments are spot on. It just impresses me how quickly the right buyers are hooked up with sellers here.
