    Just a guess: liability issues.

Not even an explanation? That's a real shame to lose this resource.

That's very unfortunate. Installing a set of their inertia-reel belts front/rear was the first project I undertook on my car.

IIRC they were affiliated with GoWesty, and I suppose any of us who live in WestyWorld can inquire.

I'm glad I got them when I did...but I do wonder about their effectiveness in a crash.

Yes, now I'm thinking that as well.

I called them within the last year. At that point, they had purchased Westy and were putting their attention to that. I specifically mentioned the liability issue and the guy on the phone said no. It was just about time and profit.

I have known the original proffessional engineer, Lucas for decades and he has done many engineering projects for racers whose names you would recognise. I wouldn't worry about his part in the seatbelt assembly.
    He is/was very meticulous.

I thought as much, Harvey. I just hope someone else will find the time and profit in this enterprise. I'm happy thus far and, if available, I'd use them again.
