    For Sale Cibie hood lights

For sale is a set of Cibie hood lights. I don't know anything about this set. What you see in the photos, is what you get. Two housings in red, but should be stripped. Two chrome rings in decent shape, no dents, and chrome is pretty good. Two Cibie lights, these appear to be brand new. They do have bulbs, but I have no idea if they work or not. Looking for $300 obo.....Thanks Steve

That's funny, it probably was a 'pm', I too recently lost a similar sale where I was the very first to post, but the 'snyper' who sent the Seller a 'pm' was the one that ended up with the parts offered for sale. As we know, a 'pm' could never be documented to the respective public thread...

Nothing wrong with a PM, in fact as a frequent seller (and buyer) of parts, I prefer PM's or e-mails.
Quite frequently when people reply to the post with 'PM sent' they are not the ones committing to buy first.
In fact, I've had plenty of occasions where they were trying to get you to sell to them for a fraction of the asking price.
Once a 'PM sent' is added to the tread, the response from other members is limited because they expect the part is already taken.........
Just my 2 pennies, and congrats to soterik, this seems like a pretty good deal.
You can probably get the missing parts for mounting them from Rene K, PM me id you want his contact details.

This is one of those sensitive topics you can engage and find plenty of material to argue both ways. The first thing that comes to mind is "Damned if you do, damned if you don't" so I cannot disagree with you either...
