    '73 S over on Pelican

"How about a 1973 911S Coupe with 6 cylinder/5 speed. Is all original with a professionally added ground effects package. Red with Black interior, 105k miles. Very well kept, no rust stored for years but driven a few miles each summer. This is a great car. What's it worth?

I can't wait to see what professionally installed ground effects look like on a 73 s.

Im having one of those moments when you know you shouldn't look at something but your curiosity gets the better of you. It will be interesting, I wonder if he'll reveal "the professional"

I saw this as well and almost gagged... BUT... there may be a deal lurking here assuming the unwanted body work is removable.

You're kidding, right? There is no such thing as "a deal" if the car surfaces online.

I hear you, Frank. But it seems to me that sometimes the ads that sound so stupid do, on occasion, turn out to be deals because everybody blows it off thinking it just has to be a turd. I'm just saying what if it isn't?

And Richard, I sure hope your comment applies to the seller and not me.

It's actually a heavily customized slantnose '74 911 made in October 1973. I got his pics...you are better off not to have seen them.

If it's actually a molested '74 911 (not 911S), then the answer to the question, "How much is it worth?", is, "Not much." It sounds like a parts car.

He sent me pics too. Not much there to salvage really. Sell it to another Playa type who digs the slant nose thing. He said if he doesn't find the right buyer, he will keep it. I politely suggested that he do just that. I think he got the 73S idea from the build date on the VIN tag.
