    Hot one!

    Had the 912 out this morning for cars-n-coffee...but it ran up to 93 degrees too quick in TN!

    Thanks...yes, it is Leaf Green 68 912. That's the original black plate for the car with an old Carl R. Carlson holder. Here's another pic.

    have you had your oil temperature sender and guage checked?

    I had a similar issue with our family 356B in Sydney, Australia.

    My concern was unfounded, as the gauge was rebuilt, and the sender replaced.

    Where I thought it was running hot - it actually was not. So back to driving the car more!

    Thanks...the car runs great and engine temp is nice and cool...just can't say the same for the temperature outside the car!
