Found: 1965 doors for car 300949

I know it's a long shot, but if anyone knows the person that owns car 300949, tell him that I have his doors. It would be nice to reunite.

Erik how do you know it's 300949? Can it be for instance from 301949 as well?

    Hello Richard,

I don't. Is the number in the doors always a three digit number? And: until what year did Porsche put the number in doors, fenders etc.

    Hi Erik

My experience is limited to 1965 / 1967. For those years I have observed three digits and sometimes a letter S.

So doors 949 could have come out of a few possible cars.

    Just my $.02

If the doors have the original chrome trim, is there is a differense in these parts for the SWB cars? Just to eliminate 66 or 67 models?

This is an very nice service, should maybe have its ones section; missing/found parts for specific chassisnr? could meen very much for some people and not least the value on a car if the correct engine/trans is found.

There actually would be a difference in the window frames if it they are for 300949, they will have the original style window frames with a separate screw on piece at the top rear - along the back of the window.

    Hello Alex,

I would be more then happy to sell him the doors for the price I paid years ago and that is 150 euros for both. It would be perfect to get these into the car they came off once... I have no chrome trim, just the doors.

Let me know if he wants them!
