Reminds me of one of my favorite movie lines. " now reach into that bag and give me back my wallet. It says bad mother $@?!&! on it! "

    Hello John,

Can you pass on a few details as to how you made it and what from - apart from a piece of thick tubing and two sodding great iron bars!!
Might want to build version 2 sometime soon.

.... or is the patent already filed....?

I just love homemade engineering solutions.

Great for taking off, but how do you put a torque wrench onto it?

Perhaps v2 could have a half inch square drive welded on as centrally as possible.

Hi guys , I only made this one for getting the nuts off as the crows foot is just OK for retorquing .
The tool is easy , just went to the second hand engineering tool shop , found a 46mm socket , cut the top off so it,s just a cylinder with no taper, put a 30deg edge on the top , cut a piece of solid 5mm wall tube , add a 30 degree edge to that , weld the two together using high level on the welder to get good penetration and fill the v this makes the main section 75mm high , and the rest you can see.
I added the two handles as this allows the socket to be pushed flat over the nut and not cause a slight angle which could damage the nut if you slip . I have always found that with only one long handle you can never be sure your dead straight or flat.
The lot cost 20 bucks to make
