Yeah. Not NOS. This is the dash currently offered by many retailers. I believe the fit isn't all that great on these.

If that's a head fake, you'll have to do better than that.

    Taking it back

If it dosen't fit correctly, has anyone tried taking them back to a Porsche dealer for a refund, ever after a long, 10 to 12 year purchase period?

What's going on? Is there some kind of virus going around?
Porsche laughs at customers when a part is 30 days outside of the warranty period... and they've never built or sold anything that wasn't perfect.

    10-12 years? lol

Not a head fake at all Frank. I think this is one of the previous gen repops that you could buy from Stoddard etc., not the current one coming out of Europe. I had always been told that these also required some work to get the window vent and ends to fit correctly. I've also always thought that these were pulled off of the later style molds since you can clearly see a spot on the underside where the center vent cutout would be. The speaker cover holes are also not in the "correct" square layout (FWIW).

PS no worries, I'm not a bidder

I bought a NOS one from a guy that purchased it in 1993. He had the invoice and it showed this on the box as well. Guess what? It's still short at the vents. So, they've had this problem for many years.
