    STPR Ouch!

STPR Rally yesterday was a testament to modern helmets, Hans, roll cage design, and ...... fate. Adam Yeoman and Jordan Schulze basically walked away from this one. 70MPH roll into a tree, roof first. The tree didn't move. Adam was knocked out for a few minutes, but appears to be fine.

They've got on-board video but the camera was messed up. They're trying to recover the file and plan to post it on YouTube.

I can imagine the camera would be messed up. I am amazed that the drivers were not really 'messed up'.

I believe this car was 'grandfathered' in. The guy who built my quattro motor built the car and raced it originally. It lacks the diagonal A-pillar reinforcement bars. Hard to say what would have happened, but seems like the A-pillar bar would have helped. I'm sure RA was all over the wreck studying how it performed.
