The very last Emory Campout, June 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.

All good things must come to an end....

After 18 years of Emory Campouts, this will be the last one.

NO, Emory is NOT going out of business... Gary will still be busy putting parts on cars from around the globe, and Rod has his business building great street and race 356's and early 911's, etc., and he's busy as ever.

I understand that in the future Gary would like to do a more simple one day event.... but for now, this last one is the focus.

So, bring your Porsche, your tent and sleeping bag, or your Winnebago! Car show is still on Saturday, swap meet on Sunday, and there's going to be a hotrod car show on Sunday afternoon this year to extend the event a bit later. I understand the Friday morning there's going to be a special early admittance to the McMinnville Air Museum (home of the Spruce Goose) and they will be parking cars actually inside the hanger!

So be come prepared for some great bench racing, general BS, great car show, huge evening campfires, and a fun swap.

I'll be bringing down my Outlaw Speedster freshly shod with some new CN36's on some vintage real magnesium Torq Thrust wheels (disc brake former SCCA race car...).

    C-ya there!

I've been twice. It is a must do. Might have to do a road trip again. Been seven years since my last visit. Anybody from So Cal interested in caravaning up?

Dang, I can't believe this will be the last. I've had such a great time there over the years.

R Gruppe Pac West chapter will be rolling out fairly early Friday morning for our usual drive down to Gary's. Any S Registry folks that would like to join us are more than welcome to do so; the more the merrier for this, the last year. PM me for details.

OK, leaving So Cal at 10 AM on Wednesday. Stopping in Red Bluff for a steak and the night. Looking at being at Gary's on Thursday afternoon. Any road trippers want to join in?
