    Engine lid plating

Any suggestions on what the Porsche letters and model badge on the rear engine lid are plated with? My 70 911 looks gold / copper.

    Thanks

    They were originally anodised.

Appearance Group cars had gold lettering.

Appearance Group was standard on 911E and 911S, optional on 911T, included wide bumper trim, aluminum threshold plates, and gold lettering.

The gold is brite dip anodizing....hard to find....excellent work by King of Trim, Marcos Celiak, North Hollywood.

My 68S (european spec) has black lettering. Under the black you can see gold.
    Have somebody else this color?
