Hello from Central IL :)

Just wanted to say hello, and say thanks in advance for all the knowledge.

Quick info:

Eric from Peoria, IL (Grew up in MI)
23 years old.
bought the car ('66 911) to restore at age 13 (seriously). Worked with my dad restoring the car throughout high school. Got the car pretty far along, but needs to be finished mechanically (swapped in running 2.0L from a 914 IIRC - need to install fresh webers and get it running - among other things).

Now that I'm done with school and have a j-o-b I'll be getting the car back from my parents' garage and working on it - thus joined to read and learn

Anyway, here's a quick pic, '66 911 2L. Sitting since '86. 40k miles on the clock (although p.o. said odo was swapped for english units, but matched mileage when it was performed - car was bought in germany from a naval officer and brought over to the states...so says the PO).
