    1969 912 dash

    Could someone post a pic of the joint between the dash and door panel on a well sorted car? Looking for what the transition between the two surfaces should look like

    Should be the same for all 69-73 911s as well as the 69 912 (essentially the same car). Tons of pics a search button away. Try searching on "dash" Lots of threads discussing those.

    Basically the edges of the dash line up with the forward profile of the door tops to create a feeling of wrap around. Couldn't tell you off the top what the gap should be...

    This is an area where the fittment/line continuation is not the best. It is one of the reasons that the black door edge paint was important, so the body color wouldn't accentuate the gap.
    Usually not much can be done to make it better.
