    need a pic of tail light wiring

    Hello,

    Just got my car back from the painter (looks sweeeeeeet) and need a pic of how the tail light is wired. Cant seem to get it right by guessing.

    I can NEVER understand why body shops just don't unplug the harness at the inner fender!!!It's so simple ! If I pass on the secret code will you promise to give it to the body shop for the next guy,,,,better yet let them fix yours with it. tail light gray w red
    brake light black w yellow, reverse light grey w brown, turn black w white, jumper from tail to side marker. Don't let anyone else see this!

    Thanks Ed. You just solved my embarrassing problem... I'm restoring a pair or rear light clusters. And forgot to write the colours down

    Well, speaking for myself, I am an idiot. I did not know they unplug. Would have saved me HOURS. The wires are different colors on the rights side vs left side further complicating things. A bad ground when trying to figure it what connects where is another living hell as it creates all kinds of results. just switching one wire can effect all the others and on and on ....

    Learn something new every day....they unplug as a whole :-/

    http://www.colorwiringdiagrams.com/porsche.htm this company has some great stuff for wiring diagrams etc… thats what it looks like.. it's also laminated
