1969 911E Polo Red Soft Window Targa

Right after Memorial Day Weekend I posted several photos of my Targa and soon after received an email from one of our members. He wanted to buy the car, no inspection, no questions...just a quick wire transfer of $110k. I was surprised to put it mildly. I had no intention of selling the car this year, next year, maybe not until 2020. Yet the more I thought about it the more I thought that this gentleman really wanted the car and was located where the car could be fully enjoyed year round. I communicated that I would be willing to sell and that I valued the car at $125k. In the next day or so I lowered the price to $120k but that is as close as we got. I had mentioned to a friend that it appeared the Targa would be re-locating and I would be looking for something new. He had just heard of an early Viper car that was coming to market. Suddenly, my 'sale' discussion ended and I'm due to look at the Viper Green car next Tuesday. The pictures on Show Your Ride are on page 267 or 268. I am attaching the sales thread from 2010 that describes the car in detail with many photos.

I have had the Targa since last October. I drove her from Madison to St Louis and she was flawless. With both tops off the look is distinctive from other early cars and she never fails to draw folks interest and questions. Again, if this exercise doesn't produce a sale, she and I are scheduled for visits to the Tail of the Dragon this September as well as the Porsche Escape later in the Fall. She is priced at $120k. Thanks for looking.

Would you mind sharing VIN, engine #, etc? Maybe snap of CoA?

    Good luck with the sale.
