What are these rear seat eye-bolts?

This is the back seat of a 1970 911T. I just bought this car, and I'm working on investigating the car, and getting it up and running.
These eye-bolts look like they'd be used for a harness, but the car doesn't have any other mods that would indicate harnesses were ever in it. The stock seatbelts are in the car. Any thoughts on these?

I did something similar to my 912 to install a car seat for my son. Doubt that is what these are for.

They look like old Simpson hardware. My guess someone had shoulder harnesses in at one time. The old "Y" type.

That was my first reaction too....but this is just so far from being a track-car, it seems odd. It's on 14" wheels, stock seats, ac compressor still in it, it just seems odd that someone would then thrown in harnesses, but not do any other mods.... but then again, who knows what has occured over 40+ years.
    Here is the car...
