    some nice vintage metal showed up at Lime Rock

    when time, money and family health issues allow, I try to get to a track for some real therapy. Last week I got to LRP in CT.....it was part of a vintage race event that I try to go to every year....but this yr the turnout was like a mini vintage fest!......fantastic. Being on the track w/ these cars was like a dream to me......I was tracking a 90 325i w/ an s50, set up for track work.

    this very fortunate family owns some very significant cars...here is a new pick up:

    this I was told was the first "customer" car...immaculate...wow...








    this car has been running for yrs...the driver now also runs an early rs/rsr style car..


    I was paddocked near a D type replica. It runs well and the driver, in his 70s, hustles her around nicley. I hope Im still driving at track in my 70s....

    Nice...I love being around (and in) the vintage stuff.

    My first PCA event at Lime Rock in 2000, there was a Jagermeister 956 going out in all the groups, including the green DE group!

    Not my picture, but this is likely the car.
