    1968 Aluminum long block

    I will have a 2.0 1968 long block available shortly and wanted to put the Engine number out to the registry in case anyone is looking for their original 1968 engine. Here's what I know:

    Serial number 3280623
    1968 Aluminum case
    901/14 Internal designation
    case stamped 12063

    Good compression across all cylinders
    Just tuned, valves adjusted, etc. at Akers Porsche in Seattle
    Runs and pulls well
    Engine was apparently rebuilt at some time prior to my purchase, there are signs of new gaskets, etc. case, valve covers, etc. appears to be original and unrestored. No carbs.

    Don't know where to begin on price, haven't sold a long block before..... open to offers

    12063 is very close to the last aluminum case; another 10 to 20 more perhaps
