WTB - Chrome Faceplate/Bezel for 1970 Blaupunkt Frankfurt

    Hey all,

I am (slowly) re-doing my dash, and am now on the hunt for a clean and straight chrome bezel for my '70 Blaupunkt Frankfurt. It's that standard Porsche chrome bezel that slides onto and around the face of the radio, and has a surrounding lip that sits atop the upholstered radio fascia plate:

If someone has a relatively nice one, I'll gladly trade you some dollars for it

Jordan, I am looking for the exact same thing. If you run across more than one please let me know and I will do the same for you in my quest.

    Thanks,

Again I'm reminded that this forum is jam-packed with excellent and helpful folks. I appreciate the replies and the PMs everyone.

Thanks to Mark A's tip, I have purchased a NOS bezel for $50 at a shop here in California.

Richard, the repros from Marek are really nice (his work is truly excellent), but if you're interested in a NOS unit, the guy I got mine from is Bob Campbell at 356 Service. Bob is also a nice guy, so I felt good about giving him my ducats.

    Cheers!

As a question of "correctness", when did the bezels change from the all chrome (Like Marek's repops) to the frosted horizontal piece above the buttons like the one in the original post?
