    Heated Seats?

    Hi Guys

Are any of you running your cars with heated seats? I'll never use heat up here in Queensland and run my car sans heat exchangers in favour of headers. But for the occasional early morning in winter and perhaps a southern road trip, I thought heated seats might be nice. And given my seats will soon be reupholstered, there's no better time. I figure I can hide any wiring harnesses pretty easily and it seems the easiest and cheapest way to provided comfort on rare occasions...

All my searches seem to come up with the same made in China carbon fibre pads (which can be cut to fit) being sold from eBay/Amazon etc... They all appear to be the same thing. So for $80 odd I'll probably order them unless someone has a lead on a better product?

I had them put into my sport seats and my R seats. Give Dave a shout at TRE Mororsports, he had them installed for me.

I know I can always get an opinion from this peanut gallery

Rob, your cars (as usual) serve as an inspiration - and I'd followed your heated seats in previous posts. From what I can work out, the product I'm looking at is one and the same as TRE have been using.

I figure for less than $100 I'll have the heating elements added for my precious derrière's comfort should I ever venture south of the border... Matt, I am a wetsuit p!sser from way back and always enjoyed short illicit pleasure Tim, out of sheer spite I will turn your seat off should you ever ride shotgun with me on a cold winter morning.
