    Measurements for placement of badge on engine decklid - 73 911S

    Couldn't find it in the archives, but can anyone send me the factory-placed measurement of the model badge from the grill opening to the top of the badge?

    How about a real measurement? I aligned the tape with the flat surface that is 90 degrees to the engine lid. (the part that is turned down) then measured to the top of the "911S" on my 73S and it is 39MM

    Thanks a million. Measured it out to 39mm as ret9191 said, leveled it up and marked the holes. Was worried because my decklid is aluminum. Went to drill with a carbide bit and it cut through like butter... apparently the holes were already there just bondo'd over!
